“Did you forget?” She asked.
“Of course I did,’ I replied, “You know that much about me by now.”
“Yes, yes I do,” she said with a thoughtful look in her eye.
Looking over her head into the distance of a misty morning, I spoke out loud what I was thinking; “Maybe I should start writing things down.”
Her laughter was sharp and sarcastic, echoing off the walls and down the street.
